Those Deadly, Green Nazi Solar Panels

Not only does solar energy cost more to produce than it gives back, but rooftop solar panels are dangerous to your health and hearth. In Germany, Australia, and the U.S.A. fire departments are warning of the deadly threat of fighting blazes associated with solar panels.

In Germany the issue has recently become a major news item. While city and local governments, swept by the Green mania, are demanding more rooftop panel installations, many fire departments have warned that fires cannot be fought on houses with rooftop solar panel units, and the property will be completely destroyed.

The largest solar panel blaze in history took place in June 2009 in Germany at the warehouse complex of BP Solar! Talk about "accident prone." BP's 200 square meter array, at Buerstadt, near Mannheim, was one of the largest roof-mounted installations in the world. And it was fabricated by BP Solar.

A rooftop solar array produces direct current electricity at a potential of 600 to 800 volts, more than enough to kill—and it cannot be turned off. The standard firefighting technique of opening up the roof to vent a blaze is not possible, because putting an axe through the solar panels exposes the firemen to deadly voltages.

Firefighters in the U.S. also have a policy of letting the solar panel-related fire burn out, rather than fighting it. Reporting on a 2009 meeting of New Jersey fire chiefs, a Florence Township chief wrote: "The final question which was asked really put things in perspective — someone asked that since California is number one when it comes to Solar Panel System installations, 'What do their Firefighters do when a structure fire involves these systems?' Answer was 'they let it burn!'"

And the solar panels themselves are often the cause of the blaze. In Australia, where government subsidies sparked a boom in rooftop panel installations, a survey of 200 systems found 3% were incorrectly wired, leading to serious fire risk. Apart from faulty wiring by installers, poor quality control in manufacturing has led to fracture in the joints between the solar cell modules, which can lead to electrical arcing. The resultant fires burn at quite high temperatures.

Solar electricity generation is ridiculously costly, and has only caught on because of huge government subsidies. Studies in the U.S. show that the true cost for the average home is 35 cents per kilowatt hour, and 25 cents per kWh in the desert. Electricity can be generated from nuclear plants at 1.3 cents/kWh, if plant construction time is reduced to a reasonable 5 years or less. Uranium fuel is so energy dense, that the main cost of nuclear power is in the plant construction. Knowing this, the Green Nazis in the U.S.A. fought for punitive regulations which dragged out construction times to 10 years or longer. They thus ran up amortization costs at high compound interest rates to high levels, making it appear cheaper, in the short run, for a utility to build coal or gas-fired plants.

Meanwhile, Green alternative energy is subsidized at huge taxpayer expense. In Germany, Der Spiegel reports that a study by the Arrhenius Institute for Energy and Climate Policy calculated that solar energy receives EU2.7 million PER DAY in subsidies! This figure is obtained simply by multiplying the EU35 cents/KWh which consumers pay as a subsidy on solar energy, by the overall production of one day, as measured on July 8. Today, one of the largest solar panel installations in the world is atop the roof of the Reichstag building in Berlin.

Shall history soon repeat itself in bizarre fashion, with a new Reichstag fire, this time caused by the solar panel mania of the new Green Nazis?

Guess Who Else Loves Schumpeter?

Obama's top economic adviser Larry Summers considers the fascist Joseph Schumpeter as probably the greatest economist of the 20th Century. The Obama Administration's deadly assault on the American labor force, otherwise known as its "jobless recovery" travesty, is premised on Schumpeter's Nietzschean theory of "creative destruction." And London-led defectors from the LaRouche movement, including the pompous ass Michael Liebig, also have become Schumpeter worshipers. So, who else loves "Papa Schumpeter," as his acolytes fondly called him?

In September 2009, the London Economist magazine launched a new weekly column named "Schumpeter," in honor of Mr. Creative Destruction. Recall that the Economist is half-owned by members of the Rothschild banking family, and half-owned by the Financial Times. The Schumpeter column is written by Adrian Wooldridge, the magazine's Management Editor, and until July 2009 their Washington Bureau Chief and "Lexington" columnist. Wooldridge is otherwise known for authoring a 1994 book, "Measuring the Mind: Education and Psychology in England c. 1860-1990," which is dedicated to the anti-human thesis stated by John Locke, in "Some Thoughts Concerning Education," that it is pointless to try to teach children much of anything, since they are either genetically endowed or not: "Everyone's Natural Genius should be carried as far as it could, but to attempt the putting of another upon him, will be but Labour in vain," Locke wrote.

In inaugurating the Schumpeter column, the Economist interviewed Wooldridge in an audio piece headlined: "Schumpeter: A Great Economist, a Strange Man." Wooldridge described Schumpeter as "a very strange man," but offered few details. Other accounts note that Schumpeter claimed that he had set himself three goals in life: 1) to be the greatest economist in the world; 2) to be the best horseman in all of Austria; and 3) to be the greatest lover in all of Vienna. He said he had reached two of his goals, but he never said which two. Or, perhaps he took care of goals #2 and #3 simultaneously, strange man that he was—much to the dismay of horses throughout the region.

Is the Eurozone About To Explode with Germany's Bonds Driving To Historic Low-Yield High-Level?

Reports are, that interest rates (yields) for German long-term state bonds, known as Bunds, are "falling in an unprecedented way" right now: for ten-year bonds, yields are now at a historic low of 2.3% as of Aug. 19, while 30-year bonds for the first time are under 3%. This dynamic was hailed in a Bloomberg article this morning, saying that with this, the Angela Merkel government has achieved something that had not happened during the "Kaisers, two World Wars or the development of the modern bond market." The same article used the "no inflation around the corner" hype in Germany, to contrast the "built-in genes" of those Bundesbank and German bankers who had experienced the hyperinflation of the 1923 Weimar Republic, to never let it happen again, with policies of other central bankers, such as the U.S. Fed, as a having turned away from the previous international consensus to stop inflation.

Given the tremendous and growing discrepancy between interest rates for sovereign bonds in Germany, on the one hand, and Portugal, Spain, Greece, etc. on the other, this will not help the eurosystem — which certainly does not deserve to live any longer. But, whatever is driving the current dynamic, this kind of inflow is very dangerous for any nation and might possibly also signify a geopolitical targeting.

On the surface, the German press reports, the German Finance Ministry is now said to be happy about "cheap money" for German state finances. And propaganda for Germans to be lured into another round of speculative cheap money for a new real estate financing bubble, certainly has been in evidence.

As a historic reminder: Between 1924-1929, Germany's industry, private citizens, and municipalities were completely dependent on foreign money inflows, after Hjalmar Schacht imposed brutal austerity in Germany with the Dawes Plan, "ending hyperinflation." There was no internal credit available for any investments, as the Reichsbank was forbidden after 1923 to create credit. A lot of speculative money entered, thus, from outside, putting Germany on the hook of this life-line. This all came to an abrupt end, when the speculative bubble burst in 1929. The political and social consequences of the Great Depression in Germany are known.

The only solution for every nation now is the global Glass-Steagall and a new credit system of sovereign nations for world reconstruction, which the LaRouche movement represents.

Americans Realize Obama Killing Economic Hopes

Whatever President NerObama says about the economy on his pre-vacation photo-op stops around the country, the fact that he's killing the economy, is killing him. An AP national poll released Thursday reports that 61% of Americans responding saw the economy having gotten worse, or not improved at all, with Obama in office.

The steady rise of new unemployment claims over the past three months shows employers, seeing the new phase of the crash, going into a new phase of getting rid of their workforces. 500,000 Americans filed for unemployment in the week ending Aug. 14, a "deep recession" level which was up another 12,000 from previous week's revised (up) 488,000. The four-week average jumped another 8,000 to 482,500/week. Three months ago new weekly claims briefly fell below 400,000, then started a relentless climb. The number of unemployed on state or Federal extended benefits has gone back above 9 million, but is still 2 million below where it was in the Spring, showing the increasing length of time people are unemployed, and the increasing number exhausting their benefits. The average length of time unemployed is now 34 weeks — 8 months, enough downtime to lose house, car, credit, "employability," etc. One out of 10 mortgaged households is now 90-plus days overdue — foreclosure territory.

The Federal Reserve, launching a new hyperinflationary money-printing policy, has published two dismal reports on shrinking regional economies this week, from the New York and Philadelphia Fed banks. The Philly Fed book released today admits that the economy is contracting in the mid-Atlantic region, total employment and hours of work are falling in August, along with shipments, new orders, prices paid and prices received for goods.

So much the latest crazy line NerObama tried out in Ohio: "A lot of it's sort of like recovering from an illness. You get a little bit stronger each day and you take a few more steps each day." Into the grave. His approval rating on handling the economy is at 40% in the AP poll.

Nerobama Flies Off to Martha's Graveyard, Babbling About Jobs

As the Labor Department released the news of half a million new job losses last week — the worst week since last November — President Obama flew off to his sixth vacation of the year, to Martha's Vineyard. In a statement issued on the way to the airport, the lunatic talked about absolutely nothing except his bill to cut taxes and provide loans for small business, a complete diversion from the massive collapse now visible even to the blind. Even this foolishness will not come before the Congress until September, with no action even contemplated before then.

On the plane to Martha's Vineyard, White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton took the same insane posture to a stunned press corps looking for a response to the ongoing collapse. Burton discussed nothing but Obama's small business bill: "So he's talked about it out on this trip that we took previously, he talked about it today, and he's going to continue to when he gets back."

It's our job to make sure that Obama gets an extended vacation and a safe retirement, rather than getting back to Washington.

LaRouche: Fix No Longer In for Obama

A source close to the Obama White House reported that the President and his top aides are hysterical over the outcome of the Rod Blagojevich case—and the prospect of a retrial. According to the source, if U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald does go ahead with a retrial, chances are good that President Obama will be ordered to testify. And this is a real nightmare situation for Obama and company, the source emphasized.

Lyndon LaRouche observed that President Obama has "good reason to be worried. Obama is now targeted. The fix is no longer in to save him."

Summers And Greenspan Embrace Hitlerian "Creative Destructiveness"

Both Larry Summers and former Fed Chairman Alan "Ayn Rand" Greenspan are devout followers of the fascist economist Joseph Schumpeter, the most famous proponent of "creative destruction." A more recent devotee of this fascist outlook is the once-human Michael Liebig, a longtime associate of Lyndon LaRouche, who, upon departing from the European LaRouche movement, became a rabid proponent of "creative destruction" and the other writings of Schumpeter.

In Summers' case, the devotion to Schumpeter was slavish. From the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation (sic), the following post by Larry Summers on Sept. 21, 2009 is of exemplary:

"An important aspect of any economic expansion is the role innovation plays as an engine of economic growth. In this regard, the most important economist of the twenty-first century might actually turn out to be not Smith or Keynes, but Joseph Schumpeter. One of Schumpeter's most important contributions was the emphasis he placed on the tremendous power of innovation and entrepreneurial initiative to drive growth through a process he famously characterized as 'creative destruction.' His work captured not only an economic truth, but also the particular source of America's strength and dynamism."

In Congressional testimony, while still head of the Fed, Greenspan praised globalization, and said that the United States was the greatest beneficiary of globalization, but, he acknowledged that globalization is also a process of creative destruction. There is considerable destruction and turmoil under globalization. For example, one million workers per week in the United States are fired and hired. There is a huge churning. Those on the destruction side of globalization are a large enough minority that we must address this. (Video of Greenspan's comments can be found on Youtube.)

Neoconservative author Michael Ledeen, the self-professed universal fascist, argued in his 2002 book The War Against the Terror Masters that America is a revolutionary nation, undoing traditional societies: "Creative destruction is our middle name, both within our own society and abroad. We tear down the old order every day, from business to science, literature, art, architecture, and cinema to politics and the law."

While Joseph Schumpeter left Germany in 1932 and lived the rest of his life in the United States, teaching at Harvard, the man who first promoted the concept of "creative destruction" was a died-in-the-wool Nazi named Werner Sombart. Sombart credited Friedrich Nietzsche with the origin of the term and concept, but passed it along to Schumpeter. Sombart, who was denounced by Rosa Luxemburg as a one-time Marxist who became an apologist for German imperialism, was a close friend of both Carl Schmitt and Martin Heidegger. In the mid-1930s, he wrote a book called Jews and the Economy, in which he wrote that the chief task of German National Socialism was to destroy the "Jewish spirit." Efforts to rehabilitate Sombart after World War II, like similar efforts to cleanse Schmitt and Heidegger of their Nazi ties, proved futile. Nevertheless, Elena Kagan, President Obama's recent appointee to the U.S. Supreme Court, was a proponent of Sombart during her Harvard days.

As in the case of Schmitt, there is also a leftwing fascist apparatus that promotes the work of Schumpeter. Cambridge University's Joan Robinson was a strong supporter of Schumpeter, and Monthly Review founder Paul Sweezy was Schumpeter's graduate assistant at Harvard and an avid follower.

Obama and His Fascist Gang Are Going Down; It's NAWAPA Time

Under Lyndon LaRouche's guiding hand, the basement team is focusing all its efforts on completing production of the first of the NAWAPA video presentations for the LPAC website. In his words, this is the highest priority. The next phase of the three campaigns will focus on the NAWAPA issue. Everything else is subordinate to this focus.

Obama is going down. As LaRouche said on Wednesday in the LPAC Weekly Report, all the Indian signs are there. Obama's madness and the outright fascist outlook of the entire team surrounding him, has finally crossed the threshold, where inaction is tantamount to writing a death certificate for the United States: RIP: 1776-2010. So the ouster of Obama is in process. There are too many wildcard factors, and too many subjective elements to the situation to predict date-certain. But the dynamic of the situation is driving Obama over the edge, and he must be safely out of office prior to the November elections.

We know that Obama and the other Chicago gang-sters at the White House are totally flipped over the Blagojevich verdict, which now reopens the issue of Obama, Emanuel, Jarrett and Axelrod—along with others like Rezko—being called to testify at a retrial. One person, close to the Obama White House said that, if Fitzgerald goes ahead with a retrial, he is convinced that Obama will have to testify. As LaRouche observed yesterday, Obama is now a target. The fix is no longer in, as it was in the Spring of this year, to protect Obama.

The President has taken a powder, flying off with the First Family for their seventh vacation of the year—to Martha's Vineyard.

We know that Obama's continued occupation of the Oval Office is the only serious impediment to a revolutionary change in policy, as Lyn has spelled it out: Reinstate Glass-Steagall and then launch NAWAPA as a Federal capital budgeted project, under conditions of a restoration of a national banking system. We can have shovels in the ground by October. So, the timing is crucial.

In the meantime, every day that Obama, Geithner, Summers and Bernanke remain on the job, their fascist agenda moves ahead—and people die. As Lyn reported on Wednesday, the past week saw a dramatic phase-shift in the collapse process, with the Bernanke and Geithner announcements of their Weimar hyperinflationary rampage; and with outright genocidalists like Berwick implementing the killer cuts in life-saving cancer treatments. Now we are finding, not surprisingly, that some of these cruds are fanatical proponents of the Hitlerian dogma of "creative destruction," most famously associated with Joseph Schumpeter.

It seems that Larry Summers, at Harvard and now at the White House, is, like former German EAP executive Michael Liebig, a worshipper of the fascist Schumpeter. In a Sept. 21, 2009 posting on the White House website, Summers promoted the idea that Schumpeter would be heralded as the greatest economist of the 21st Century, because his doctrine of "creative destruction" is the great source of innovation in the American economy. Earlier, Alan Greenspan had testified before Congress on the great benefits of globalization, also invoking Schumpeter's "creative destruction" as the underlying dynamic behind the success of globalization. Greenspan had to admit that there are a large minority of people who never get beyond the "destruction" and this, he said, is unfortunate.

Schumpeter got his concept of creative destruction from a real Nazi named Werner Sombart, a onetime Marxist-turned apologist for National Socialism. Sombart coined the term "creative destruction," and credited the idea to Friedrich Nietzsche, the 19th-Century fascist. Sombart was in the inner circles of Carl Schmitt and Martin Heidegger. He was the author of a mid-1930s book called Jews and the Economy, in which he argued that the chief task of German National Socialism was to destroy the "Jewish spirit." Efforts to rehabilitate Sombart after World War II did not succeed any better than the efforts to de-Nazify Heidegger and Schmitt. According to one account, one of the biggest proponents of Sombart's work is Elena Kagan, just confirmed as Obama's U.S. Supreme Court appointee.

This is the kind of outright fascist crap being peddled by the degenerate Liebig and the equally degenerate Larry Summers. Any more questions about why Obama wears the moustache? Or does the moustache wear Obama?

Prince Charles As the Green Marie Antoinette

The Independent runs a scathing attack on Prince Charles as the "Prince of Green Hypocrites" by Julie Burchill. The title reads "So the Prince of Green Hypocrites is going on tour." The subtitle: "Green is the first socio-political movement in which every single leader and spokesperson is filthy rich."

Burchill focusses her attack on Charles' upcoming "sustainable" development tour of Great Britain, where he will be "riding the Royal Train, which runs on sustainable biofuel — and hot air —– hosting a five-day series of meetings and receptions along the way." She reminds readers that this is the same train where "this man of principle used to sleep with the wife of a brother officer while engaged to a virgin he chose like a broodmare. Happy days of our glorious heritage!" He will be promoting his green "sustainable living" agenda.

She compares the fact that in the past three years, according to the website mySupermarket.co.uk, shoppers are paying 58% more for rice, 30% more for a keep-calm-and-carry-on cuppa and 18% more for soap, bread and eggs, with Charles' life-style where he has "up to half a dozen boiled eggs served to him at breakfast until he finds, in the manner of Goldilocks, one which is cooked to his liking." She quotes Jeremy Paxman's book on royalty: "If the Prince felt that number five was too runny, he could knock the top off number six or seven," pointing out that Charle's own flock of hens "live in a £10,000 hen house modelled on a Saxon steeple and made of environment-friendly green oak."

She then cites Charles' support for high food prices in 2002.

She writes in comment :"As I said, I'll be abroad when the clown prince spreads the word amongst us planet-polluting proles, but if I were to meet him, I'd have two words for him —– yes, apart from those —– and those two words would be MARIE ANTOINETTE. I've said it before, but it bears repeating; Green is the first socio-political movement in which every single leader and spokesperson is filthy rich –— with PC himself at the top of the pile. Let them eat Duchy Originals cake, eh Charles?..."

While Burchill, a left-wing Lesbian feminist, is known for wild commentaries, this one was one of the leading articles in the Independent's web edition and was also named an "editor's choice."
