Evans-Pritchard Backs Bailout: Britain, Too, Is On the Firing Line

February 16, 2010 (LPAC)—City of London mouthpiece Ambrose Evans-Pritchard has thrown out his anti-European Union "principles," and is backing an EU bailout for Greece—and thereby attempting to save his masters in the City of London.

Evans-Pritchard reports that the Netherlands Parliament last week passed an all-party motion prohibiting the use of Dutch taxpayers' money to bail out Greece, either through bilateral aid or EU bodies; and the German Bundestag also drafted an opinion deeming aid to Greece illegal, and that state bodies cannot purchase the debt of another state, in whatever guise.

Nonetheless, he writes, the EU had no choice last week but to back Greece, because "Europe's banking system was—and is—at imminent risk as Greek contagion spreads across Club Med. The danger of a 'sovereign Lehman' setting off chain reactions is very real, with Britain too on the firing line. I find myself in the odd position of backing drastic EU action, for fear of the worse. We all go down together if this escalates."

But he points out that the EU made aid conditional on Greece's "full compliance," and adds, "So what if Greece does not—or cannot—comply?" He concludes with Papandreou's slamming of the EU over the weekend, and comments, "Does this sound like a man ready to immolate his country to please Germany?"

Banco Santander, the WWF, and Your Right to a Drink of Water

February 16, 2010 (LPAC)—The Spanish Banco Santander's Botin family are not merely errand boys for the British in banking; they are their hired hand in the monarchy's genocide project, as well.

Concretely: the Fundacion Marcelino Botin, the same private foundation which just concluded a four-year project building up Britain's "BRIC" operation against LaRouche's "Four Powers" strategy, is a handmaiden of Prince Philip's monstrous WWF operation to privatize and restrict human use of the world's water resources, a central part of its drive to kill off over three quarters of the human race as quickly as possible.

When Philip's WWF, along with Dutch collaborators, set up a global "Water Footprint" network in 2008, as a centralized strike force to force governments to restrict water consumption, the Botin Foundation added its ten-year-old global water project to the WWF effort. The "Water Footprint" fraud, spun off the WWF's "Ecological Footprint" operation—which suffered a strategic defeat in Copenhagen—churns out statistics as cooked as Banco Santander's books, "proving" the bald lie that human consumption of water, which they view as a "fixed resource," in agriculture, industry, and power generation, threatens the planet. By "fixed" resource, they mean they intend to do the "fixing," treating it as a commodity to either be bought and sold directly, or "virtually" over continents, in a manner suggestive of the insane cap-and-trade trading of "pollution" rights: the ultimate in monetarist insanity.

Take the approach advocated by the feudal Botin Foundation "Water Observatory." Their "experts" lecture around the world that use of water for agriculture is the key problem to be addressed. Countries which lack water should not worry about creating new water resources; they should just import their food from water-rich countries, and use their scarce resources for "more beneficial activities" than food self-sufficiency, such as cash crops and tourism. Environmental considerations must be added to the calculation of permissable water use. Thus, they propose that the motto of water experts must change from "More Crops and Jobs per Drop," to "More cash and nature per drop!"

This is not "theory." In Mexico today, the WWF's billionaire partner Carlos Slim is already running an experiment in privatization of water in the drug cartel-destroyed city of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, and attempting to set up a similar "business" in Sonora, by pitting water-rationed urban dwellers against rural farmers producing food.

France's Le Point Joins British Depopulation Psychopaths

February 16, 2010 (LPAC)—In tune with the London Economist, the cover story this week of Le Point, one of the three main French national weeklies, is an obscene Malthusian dossier entitled "The Human Bomb." Inside, a 14-page dossier starts off with an article entitled "9 billion in 2050, and me, and me, and me." This is followed by the kicker: "We are 6.8 billion humans who share the Earth. Tomorrow, we will be many more. The demographic bomb is lit. What will we drink? Will we have enough to eat? Where will we live?"

Among the gems in this dossier is an anamorphic map of the Earth, where continents are deformed according to expected human population growth rates. In this map, the African and Asian regions look as if they are fat, inflated, while the Americas and Europe look starving and thin.

Among the articles, one unabashedly racist one stands out, which is on how African families supposedly want to have "fifteen children," and therefore the proportion of black people to whites in the world has massively increased since 1950. A graphic, using human figures as units of account shows that in 1950 for one African there were nine "other" human beings of all categories. In 2100 that proportion will be one African to three "other."

EU Finance Ministers Are Clueless, As Euro System Disintegrates

February 16, 2010 (LPAC)—Jean-Claude Juncker, the Luxembourg Prime Minister who chairs the Eurogroup, emerged from the Feb. 15 meeting of Finance Ministers of the 16 European nations using the euro, to announce to the expectant world media the results of their urgent latest discussion of the "Greek" crisis: nothing.

The assembled Finance Ministers took the occasion to further beat up on Greece, demanding that they impose more, and more, and yet more austerity; but no concrete steps were announced, nor bailout package revealed, because Germany remained firmly opposed to picking up the tab and bailing out the banks and derivatives traders. The only thing agreed upon, was that they would "monitor" Greece's "progress," and send in a team from the EU, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund in March, to pronounce their verdict.

Predictably, the euro headed for a nine-month low against the dollar on Monday, "as investors grew increasingly nervous about the absence of any quick bailout package," as one wire service put it.

"These guys are clueless," Helga Zepp-LaRouche commented today, "and meanwhile the clock is ticking on sovereign defaults not only in Greece, but across the entire eurozone."

Lyndon LaRouche also emphasized that while people continue to focus on Greece, the situation is actually far worse in Spain and Portugal, where the assets of banks like Santander are totally fake, and are cross-related. For that reason, only a total reorganization-in-bankruptcy of the international financial system, such as that proposed by LaRouche, in which banks and other institutions are sorted out along Glass-Steagall standards, can defuse the otherwise certain explosion.

French Bank: Euro Collapse 'Inevitable'

The euro, already under pressure, came under renewed attack Monday as a French bank speculated that the currency union would inevitably collapse.

Meanwhile, a former chief economist of the European Central Bank warned that a bailout for member country Greece could damage the euro's credibility.

Société Générale strategist Albert Edwards warned investors that any help given to Greece merely “delays the inevitable break-up of the euro zone,” while former European Central Bank Chief Economist Otmar Issing, in a Financial Times piece, said bailing out Greece would be a “major blow” to the currency.

“The viability of the whole framework — nothing less — is at stake,” wrote Issing.

“Financial assistance for countries that violated the terms of their participation in EMU would be a major blow for the credibility of the whole framework.”

The euro could sink to $1.3483 from its $1.5144 high in November, traders told the U.K. Daily Mail.

At issue are the terms of the pact that created the euro, which requires its members to maintain an annual budget deficit no higher than 3 percent of GDP and a national debt lower than 60 percent of GDP.

Greece is expected to hit 12.5 percent deficit in 2009 and debt of 72 percent by 2010 and 2011.

Details of a plan to bail out Greece are being hammered out today and Tuesday at a special meeting of the European Central Bank's Economic and Financial Affairs Council, Ecofin.

In addition to the open question of Greece, the fate other countries with similar debt and deficit problems, notably Spain, Italy, Ireland, and Portugal, hang in the balance.

Currency speculators have increased their bets on the dollar to their highest since 2008, while short euro positions rose to a record, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, euro critics have piled on. David Cameron, the opposition leader in the U.K., reiterated his statement that Britain would “never join the euro.”

Cameron is expected to become prime minister of English in a few months, ending 13 years of Labor government.

Martin Feldstein, a former adviser to President Ronald Reagan, said the euro system wasn't working.

“There's too much incentive for countries to run up big deficits as there's no feedback until a crisis,” he said.

China's Bohai Bay 80% Ice-Covered. Where is Global warming ?

February 15, 2010 (LPAC)—As China celebrates its Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), there is new information on the spread of sea ice in North China waters. Remote-sensing data from the National Satellite Ocean Application Service showed that 12,719 square km, or 80 percent, of the Bohai Bay, one of the three comprising the Bohai Sea, had iced up as of January 23. Li Baohui, a State Oceanic Administration (SOA) scholar, said the sea ice was mainly the result of low temperatures and brief intervals between cold fronts.

The worst ice in four decades has caused enormous losses to marine transport, fishing, aquatic breeding, and offshore mining industries in Tianjin Municipality and several provinces located around the water body, according to Beijing Review.

About half of the Bohai Sea, a semi-enclosed inland sea the size of South Carolina, was covered by ice on January 23 as it experienced its worst freeze since 1969. Ice floes stranded ships, disrupted oil drilling and caused economic losses to marine farms, where ice blocked oxygen from reaching captive fish.

For example, Shengli Oilfield, one of China's largest, suffered severe damage by sea ice to its drilling and power-transmission facilities. More than 1,000 wells were affected. The Shandong Province fishery reports that 12,500 acres of shrimp farms in Shandong are not producing, the province's fishing ports are frozen, and more than 4,000 fishing boats are unable to go fishing due to sea ice. One aquaculture company alone suffered $44 million in losses after most of its 6 million abalones died during the freeze.

Lyndon LaRouche has pointed out that it is not only global cooling, but a reinforcing effect that helps bring on ice ages; the sea-covering ice will re-radiate solar radiation that otherwise would be absorbed by the dark waters.

Volcker: Greatest Crisis is Collapse of Governance

February 15, 2010 (LPAC)—Former Federal Reserve Chairman and ostensible Obama economic advisor, Paul Volcker, gave an interview today to CNN's Fareed Zakaria, in which he bluntly declared that the greatest crisis facing the United States is a total collapse in governance. In what was the closest thing to an attack on the Obama Administration, Volcker pointed out that, one year into the Obama Presidency, the Senate has yet to confirm an undersecretary of treasury for domestic or international affairs. He told Zakaria that, in all his life, the incapacity for governance in the United States has never been so grave. Asked, again, at the close of his interview what he saw as the gravest problem in the immediate period ahead, he said, "the crisis in governance." He emphasized that there is no alternative to American leadership of the world, and right now, there is no real American leadership.

While there was no mention of Glass-Steagall, Volcker responded to a question about the need for reregulation, by saying that a framework must be established for non-banking institutions to be put through "euthanasia," not rescue. He also argued that the United States must revive its manufacturing base, citing a 20-year trend toward "financial engineering" at the expense of chemical and civil engineering. He again returned to the issue of governance and policy-making, noting that the cost of shipping a ton of steel from China to the United States is equal to the total labor cost of producing the same ton of steel in the United States. So the argument that labor costs are prohibitive to a revival of American basic manufacturing is untrue. He repeated his frequently cited comment, that the only useful financial innovation in the past 30 years has been the ATM machine.

Bankrupt Britain Pulled Down with EU Disintegration

February 15, 2010 (LPAC)—Robert Mazzuoli, chief analyst at the Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (state bank, LBBW) in Germany, is quoted in yesterday's German media as having warned that the option of driving Greece out of the euro to protect the eurozone would not work, "because there is no middle-of-the-road approach." It's either a full sovereign default, or a full bailout, and a Greek default would, he added, not only pull down the other "PIIGS" states immediately, but also the highly indebted Great Britain (!), and the rest of the EU thereafter.
This only goes to the point of what Lyndon LaRouche has said, that the crisis in Europe lies in the bankruptcy of Banco Santander, and its affiliates. The entire British financial system is bankrupt. LaRouche has demanded that the euro must be eliminated, and replaced with soverign currencies, with a global Glass-Steagall standard. That is the only solution to the crisis in Europe.

Swine flu just a hoax? False Pandemic.

This headline is today flashing by on the Swedish Aftonbladet news paper site.

The article then goes to describe the dark horror filled headlines which pushed about 30 million Europeans to take the poisonous so called swine flu shot. The article goes on to give a very twisted description of the events that took place last year with the usual complete disregard for facts. Most astonishingly, the paper does not mention its own vital part in the propaganda, a massive concerted campaign not seen in Swedish media for a very long time if ever before.

"The epidemic culminated fast. After just a few weeks at the top, it declined and the strange thing is that it did so at about the same time in Sweden and in countries which did not vaccinate so fiercely."

"- I don't Get it. There are many things that has taken us by surprise with this pandemic" says Hans Bertil Hansson, specialist in infectious diseases.

The article goes on to state that six million doses of vaccine "was used" in Sweden out of ten million delivered but that statement is an obvious attempt to make the reader believe six million Swedes took the vaccine. The truth is that there is no accurate statistics available and the only thing kept track of is doses distributed, not injected. It was clear from the start that part of the propaganda campaign was set up so that it would seem very many decided to take the shot. Anyone reading carefully could clearly see that the wording used was deliberately misleading the public about this and very many other things. The truth is that the real number of Swedes taking the vaccine are dramatically lower than what is officially stated. No real data about damages, deaths or other "side effects" from the poisinous Pandemrix shots are made available other than the ususal polished and washed data which by now, no one believes in anyway.

Reading the article makes it clear that media now will be forced to pretend to "investigate" the flu hoax and that they for sure will not do their job, which in fact they should have done over a year ago. They will pretend to "investigate", not because they want to know the truth and share it with the public but because they are forced to since it is now clearly one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of mankind.

If anything, the population have lost a great deal of trust in both Swedish media, journalism, politicians and the Swedish medical system, since it is clear to everyone that the health of the people is not the priority and that "someting else, something strange and fishy" is going on. Government agencies who should protect the citizens of the country have clearly failed and even worse, have knowingly tricked, fooled and lied to the people. They have shown that they truly serve other interests and that they willingly do play an active role in the depopulation program.

Side effects showing later than three weeks after the shot will not be recorded. The whitewash has started.

Well over 100 people in Sweden have died from the poisinous "swine flu" Pandemrix shot (the real number might never become known), dozens of abortions have been privately reported (how many really occured might never be known) and the real damage of this poisinous vaccine will be obvious the coming years in the form of suffering, disease and death among tens of thousands of victims. Pandemrix, this deadly cocktail, is what is called a "slow killer" and the ones responsible for pushing it onto the population, knowing the facts and dangers - the media, politicians, doctors and authorities - are nothing but murderers.

British-Saudi-Controlled Terrorists Hit India; The Objective: To Derail India-Pakistan Talks

February 14, 2010 (LPAC)—A blast ripped through a German-run bakery in the western Indian city of Pune's Koregaon Park, killing at least nine and injuring more than 40. The bakery shop is located across the street from the Jewish Chabad (community center) house. Pune is located about 120 miles south of Mumbai. The city of Mumbai is now under full alert.

The attack was orchestrated through Mumbai underground Mafia, headed by Dubai- and Karachi-based Dawood Ibrahim and a number of Islamic terrorist groups, including the American terror suspect Douglas Headley, who visited Koregaon Park in 2008 and 2009 as a tourist; and the purpose is to collapse the upcoming India-Pakistan foreign secretary-level talk scheduled for Feb. 25. This has been orchestrated by the British and Saudi operators who want to keep India and Pakistan at each others' throats. On the other hand, despite strong resistance from within in both Pakistan and India by high-level officials who are influenced by the British-Saudi-led conflict promoters, efforts are afoot at the highest level in both India and Pakistan to work out a format for friendly and fruitful bilateral relations.

It is almost a certainty that some of the suspects behind the blast have their residence in Pakistan, but they also move around unhampered within India. For instance, Indian security has already identified Riyaz Bhatkal, who is currently hiding in Karachi, as one of the planners behind the blast. Bhatkal, who was involved in bomb blasts in Bangalore, Karnataka, last year, fled to Pakistan via Dubai after the Bangalore blasts. He has been constantly monitoring the resurrection of the Indian Mujahideen, and has been trying to strengthen the organization's base in Pune over the last few months, a security official said. Indian security officials have also noted the involvement of individuals linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, a British-controlled Sunni terrorist group, based in Pakistan and involved in terrorist activities in Kashmir, and have taken note of Headleys visits to Pune.
