Lord Rothschild: Don't You Dare Touch My Plantation!
April 12, 2010 (LPAC)—Lest anyone had a doubt about the feudal mentality of Lord Jacob Rothschild, founder of the insidious, and bankrupt, Inter-Alpha Group, we direct you to this report from the April 11th TimesOnLine.
It seems Lord Rothschild is leading a revolt against the biggest rail project proposed for Britain in more than 100 years, a high-speed rail line scheduled to connect London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds. Apparently the line is scheduled to pass through the back yards of numerous rich and famous residents, ranging from Rothschild, to Sir Ozzy Osbourne, and others of that ilk.
Poor Jacob. He objects to the fact that the train would cut directly through the 5,700-acre estate where he lives, and leave a "scar" on the landscape. Not enough room, I guess.
The high-speed rail line would reduce the time of travel from London to Birmingham from 84 minutes to 49, and be a major upgrade for the general population. But Lord Rothschild objects.
