Obama In Meltdown; World Financial System Set To Blow.

As of today, the global strategic situation can be effectively summarized as follows. The entire world financial system has reached a break point, as of one week ago. At any moment, the entire system can explode. It could happen today, Monday, or any time in the immediate days and weeks ahead. A massive hyperinflationary intervention by the world's central banks could perhaps push back the date for a brief period of time, but nothing within the existing system can avert the inevitable for very much longer. The line has been crossed. Major banks on both sides of the Atlantic are hopelessly bankrupt, including the Inter-Alpha Group's Banco Santander and Societe Generale, and Bank of America.

The fact that a number of European governments, including France, Belgium and Spain, have imposed a ban on short-selling of financial stocks is at least a small indication that they sense the doom — but are still thoroughly unprepared to take the only viable action: a full bankruptcy reorganization of the system. As appropriate as action against speculators may be in a limited sense, the actions in themselves are doomed to fail, because President Obama is not about to defy Geithner and Wall Street and the City of London, and impose a ban on short-selling in the United States.

In the aftermath of the Wednesday diplomatic luncheon in Washington with Lyndon LaRouche, senior officials in one European financial ministry responded by admitting that the entire global system is in a meltdown—way beyond just the problems in the trans-Atlantic region—and that the speed at which the crash is coming is much greater than at the time of the Great Depression in the 1930s.

At the same time that the global financial system is in a terminal meltdown, the same is true for President Obama, who is in a state of shock, over the Wall Street turmoil and the mass revolt against him. Obama's response has been to go into a flight forward against the nominal lead Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, according to DNC sources. Reports from inside the Obama campaign organization are that they are about to launch a vicious personal smear campaign against Romney, based on the expectation that Romney will collapse under the pressure of such an early, concerted attack. In fact, there is nothing in Romney's profile that suggests that this is true. It is, however, true for Obama, who is already in a state of desperate, Nero-like hysteria. Anyone who underestimates the depth of Obama's present psychological meltdown, is hysterically blocking on what Lyndon LaRouche first identified in April 2009: Obama is a severe Narcissist in the tradition of Emperor Nero and Hitler in the bunker. This can be a crucial strategic flank, if properly understood.

The reality is, that, were the 2012 Presidential elections to take place this week, Obama would lose to Romney by 20 percent. And that is not because Romney is particularly any good. In fact, private polling conducted in recent days shows that Hillary Clinton would defeat any Republican nominee by a landslide if she were the Democratic Party nominee instead of Obama. Top Democrats are aware of this, and that is only further adding to Obama's over-the-top freakout, which was fully on display on Thursday, when he appeared in Holland, Michigan and tried to blame everyone but himself for the economic crash. The reality is that Obama is an extremely weak personality, which is true of all severe Narcissists.

Leading Democratic Party strategists are in a state of shock over Obama's desperation — this early in a re-election campaign. But, the Democratic Party leadership, collectively, are eunuchs. Nancy Pelosi despises Obama — but she won't do anything about it. At the moment, a GOP move to impeach Obama on absolutely legitimate grounds — such as the illegal Libya war and the Super-Congress coup against the Constitution — would fail on purely partisan grounds.

This situation could, however, change very rapidly, driven by Obama's desperado state of mind. Obama is desperate and he is surrounded by idiots, particularly in his campaign apparatus. Remember Nixon. He was headed for a landslide victory over George McGovern, but went for an overkill and wound up being Watergated. The bottom line: Obama is insane, and the real issue is the 25th Amendment. Obama should be removed from office because he is mentally unfit to be President. That is the truth, and we should be hammering away at that fact — especially because every time Obama opens his mouth, he proves our case.

Glass-Steagall remains the essential first step toward a real solution to this otherwise certain plunge into a civilizational dark age. We have enormous support and momentum on this issue. Dump Obama and pass Glass-Steagall, and the world situation is altered in the most profound way. It is in our grasp to accomplish this.
