LaRouche: Bring Criminal Charges Against Heads of Government of Israel

June 4, 2010 (LPAC)—Lyndon LaRouche called today for criminal charges to be brought against the heads of the government of Israel in the killing of an American citizen, 19-year-old Furkan Dogan, in the Israeli raid on the Gaza relief flotilla. The young man was shot five times, including four shots to the head, reported ABC World News on the morning of June 3.

LaRouche said, "This is really criminal. A criminal complaint should be brought against the heads of the government of Israel." At the same time, said LaRouche, "Do Israel a favor and get the idiot Netanyahu out of government. Bring back the Labor Party. See what they can do with this mess."

President Obama continues to give cover to British asset Netanyahu. Obama's press secretary, Robert Gibbs, told reporters today that the fact that an American was killed is not going to change Obama's approach. Gibbs dodged four separate questions at the White House today, and only said that Obama called Furkan Dogan's parents today to express "deep condolences."

Dogan is one of nine males aboard the Mavi Marmara who were killed by the Israeli commandos. He was born in Troy, New York, and currently lived in Turkey, where he attended high school. According to a forensic report, quoted by Anatolian News Agency of Turkey, Dogan was shot at close range—four times in the head and once in the chest. The bodies of all the nine dead have been turned over to Turkey.

Reports are now being assembled from the eyewitnesses on the lead ship, the Mavi Marmara, now that Israel, under international pressure, has released the activists who were aboard the Free Gaza flotilla. According to ABCNews, a Canadian on board described seeing an elderly man bleed to death from the Israeli attack. Another witness said an Indonesian doctor was shot in the stomach and a photographer shot in the forehead.

A local Malaysian newspaper reported on June 3, that Malaysian activists from the flotilla had given detailed descriptions of Israelis shooting unarmed passengers at close range aboard the Mavi Marmara. The Malaysians arrived in Jordan after being held for several days by the Israelis.

Reliable Sources Indicate that the Conclusion that North Korea Sank the South Korean Naval Vessel Is False

June 4, 2010 (LPAC) — Lyndon LaRouche reported that credible sources, drawing on a Chinese investigation into the evidence surrounding the sinking of the South Korean naval frigate Cheonan, suggest that the conclusion of the "international investigation" which blamed North Korea, based on circumstancial evidence, is false. LaRouche has repeatedly challenged the accusations against North Korea as lacking any coherent reason, while it is totally coherent with British efforts to create chaos across Eurasia in the face of the global financial collapse and the threat of Eurasian unity against the London/New York bail out of banks at the expense of nations and peoples.

Yoichi Shimatsu, the former editor of Japan Times, asked "Did an American Mine Sink South Korean Ship?" in the New American Media website on May 27. Shimatsu refers to a "technical assessment by the Chinese military, according to a Beijing-based military affairs consultant to the People's Liberation Army," which dismisses the scanty evidence provided by the five-nation investigation (including, in addition to South Korea, a group of old "Cold War" nations, the U.S., Britain, Australia, and Sweden, which could hardly be expected to be trusted by China and Russia on an issue of this sort).

Shimatsu notes that a joint US/South Korea naval exercise called "Foal Eagle" took place the week preceeding the March 26 sinking of the Cheonan. Both the exercise and the sinking took place in the vicinity of Byeongnyeong Island, where a US/South Korean Anti-Submarine Warfare base is located. The exercise consisted of anti-submarine maneuvers by five missile ships and a mine-laying ship, the USNS Salvor, with a crew of 12 Navy divers. In 2006, the Salvor had trained Thai Marine divers in mine-laying in the Gulf of Thailand. The Salvor is not part of the 7th Fleet, but under the US Military Sealift Command tied to Naval Intelligence, says Shimatsu.

The area in question is guarded by the most sophisticated sonar and acoustic detection equipment available — and yet there was no indication of any submarines or torpedos in the area the day of the sinking of the Cheonan.

Shimatsu does not say that the Chinese accuse the U.S. of an intentional attack, but point to an "inadvertant release" of a "rising mine" planted on the seabed and released to hit a ship dead center, breaking the ship in half, as happened to the Cheonan. He notes that a torpedo, in contrast to a rising mine, puts a hole in the hull and tilts the vessel.

He also notes that the first reports indicated gun powder, which may have come from crude North Korean weapons, but later reports discovered "chemical residues similar to German advanced explosives," as used by NATO forces.

"This is what I thought all along," said LaRouche. "It's not credible to me that it was a North Korean-based operation. It sounds more like a NATO-based operation, an incident created and exploited to destabilize the area of China, Russia, and Japan — and also Vladivostok."

LaRouche: Royal Dutch Shell Takeover of BP a Shell Game

June 4, 2010 (LPAC)—According to the Guardian, "doubts over BP's survival" could lead to a takeover of BP by Shell. "Analysts are wondering whether merger talks ... as happened between BP and its arch rival Shell in 2007 ñmight arise again as BP's ability to pay dividends is questioned, and its public credibility in America, which provides 40 percent of its income, plummets."

Lyndon LaRouche referred to such a takeover of BP by Royal Dutch Shell as a BP shell game. Such a takeover would represent the marriage of Prince Philip and the now deceased Prince Bernard. Shell is Bernard and BP is Philip. We should expropriate both Royal Dutch Shell and BP. BP committed a crime on our territory. They are liable for damage to our territory. BP and Shell are liable for the costs. These companies were created by Prince Philip and the late Nazi Prince of Holland, Bernard, the Nazi SS veteran, who served as Prince of Holland. Don't get sick in the Netherlands if you are over 50 years of age."

"I've never been political before, but I knew I had to be here."

 

These words, spoken by a demonstrator to a local television reporter, outside a $3,000-per-person fundraiser last week, at a ritzy hotel in San Francisco's "[S]Nob Hill" district, which "starred" President Barack Obama, have been repeated by a growing number of Americans across the nation. The mass-strike process, which Lyndon LaRouche first identified in the Summer of 2009, when angry Americans turned Congressional town hall meetings into demonstrations against Obama's Nazi health-care policy, is evolving, and maturing into a "monster," which is terrifying the once-complacent so-called political class.

While incumbent Congressmen and their media flaks initially tried to dismiss it as a momentary explosion, manipulated by Republican operatives against a Democratic administration, they are now praying it will disappear, as they see it gaining momentum, and increasing in ferocity, seemingly everywhere.

(As for this process being under the control of Republican operatives: Anyone who has ever heard the boring and unimpressive former U.S. Rep. Dick Armey (R-Tex.)—who is being given credit, by many in the media, as the organizer of the demonstrations—would know this is not possible. As we say in Texas, "That boy couldn't organize a two-car funeral procession.")

What seemed at first to be an inchoate, disorganized response, has forced its way onto everyone's political radar screen, as its participants are no longer content to merely demand explanations at town hall meetings. In San Francisco, in Trenton, in Phoenix, there are ever-larger demonstrations, with participants from across the political spectrum. And these people are increasingly marching into voting booths, as a "throw the bums out" mentality is becoming hegemonic.

The San Francisco demonstration may be indicative of where this process is heading, as the leadership provided there by the LaRouche Youth Movement's (LYM) campaign of Summer Shields for Congress shows the potential for delivering a decisive blow to those who insist that there is no alternative to "globalization." Prominent among the thousands of demonstrators were members of Shields' campaign, with banners calling for the impeachment of Obama, and the famous photo of Obama, with a Hitler-style mustache.

Though the Shields campaign activists were not the only ones carrying signs calling for Obama's impeachment, they were interviewed by local television reporters, and drew a response from the President himself. In his remarks to supporters, Obama tried to joke about his unpopularity, but came across as defensive, when he acknowledged that it has been a tough year for him, adding that there are even posters of him with a Hitler mustache!

With the President's popularity ratings plummeting, and those of incumbent Congressmen collapsing to Cheneyesque levels, the mass strike can no longer be ignored, or dismissed.

James Cameron says 'morons' charged with fixing Gulf oil spill

"Avatar" and "Titanic" director James Cameron on Wednesday evening criticized those responsible for stopping the geyser of oil flowing into the Gulf of Mexico and again offered the assistance of the private team of deep-sea experts with whom which he has worked on several underwater films and exploration efforts.

"Over the last few weeks I've watched, as we all have, with growing horror and heartache, watching what's happening in the Gulf and thinking those morons don't know what they're doing," Cameron said at the D: All Things Digital conference sponsored by The Wall Street Journal near Los Angeles.

Cameron developed expertise in deep sea robotic vehicles and submersibles over a period of 22 years, he said. That's led to the filming of two documentaries about the Titanic, as well as the feature film of that name, which at the time was the highest-grossing feature film ever. He also directed "The Abyss."

"Wait a minute, I know a lot of smart people in deep submergence," Cameron said he thought as the Gulf crisis deepened. "Why don't I just get all these people that I know together for a brainstorming session?"

Cameron told the audience that on Tuesday he had gathered 23 people -- a "who's who" of the deep sea robotics community -- together through the auspices of the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, though no one from the EPA attended the meeting at the agency's headquarters.

Four other federal agencies also took part in the "listening session," a spokesperson for the EPA said, including the Department of Energy, the United States Coast Guard, the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration.

"We're writing it all up and putting it in reports to various agencies," Cameron said of the meeting's results.

Other groups represented at the meeting included the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute; the Oceanographic Institute at Harbor Branch, Florida Atlantic University; Deep Oceans Expeditions; the PP Shirshov Institute of Oceanology and Phoenix International.

Cameron said he has not been in touch with anyone from the White House, and that earlier proffers of assistance he had made to BP were rebuffed.

"They could not have been more gracious but they basically said, 'We've got this,'" he said.

Cameron said one reason he hoped his offer of access to private film-equipped deep-water vehicles would be taken up was to more accurately convey what was happening under water.

"The government really needs to have its own independent ability to go down there and image the site, survey the site and do its own investigation and monitor it," Cameron said. "Because if you're not monitoring it independently, you're asking the perpetrator to give you the video of the crime scene."

This is not the only instance in which Cameron's film work has also had technical implications of potential interest outside of Hollywood. In April, it was reported that he was "working with Malin Space Science Systems Inc. of San Diego to build an updated camera that, if completed in time, will be installed on the Mars Science Laboratory rover" Curiosity, scheduled to be launched in 2011, according to Computerworld. The camera would have 3-D and zoom capacities similar to those used in Cameron's recent movie projects.

Big Slick to Hit Florida By Friday; BP Continues "Trust Us" BS

June 3, 2010 (LPAC)—On or about day 45 of the Gulf of Mexico BP oil rig explosion, oil is expected to turn up on the beaches of the Florida panhandle. By Wednesday, an oil sheen was nine miles off Pensacola. Oil already appeared on the Alabama coastline, at Dauphin Island, and the Ft. Morgan Peninsula.

Thus, the extent of the oil spill damage is growing daily, as is to be expected. At the same time, the pretenses of damage-mitigation by BP and Obama's Unified Command — Federal agencies — are daily becoming more of an evil joke. What is required is to expropriate BP America, and make war on the crisis. A few of the parameters of the situation make this clear:

* OBAMA/BP GO-SLOW ON COASTAL PROTECTION. Only this afternoon, did the Obama White House send word to Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, that the Unified Command today issued the requirement that BP Plc is to fund construction of five sand berms. A request to expedite this was made by Louisiana authorities on May 11! One such berm has already been constructed. Louisiana has 140 miles (235 km) of coastline affected by the giant oil slick at present.

These sand berms, and the other protective measures — boom, oil skimming, etc. — are limited, and threatened by strong currents and storms, but the BP/Obama stance of stalling and opposing such protection is reprehensible. A rear-guard action was taken yesterday by Florida U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson (D), who sent a letter to Obama, asking him to get the Defense Department deployed in installing coastal protection.

The materiel itself isn't even in the pipeline. The Alabama State Port Authority said this week that they could not install needed boom protection for the vital Mobile coastline, because they lacked supplies of boom, as well as because of the unfortunate occurrence of strong currents.

* CLEAN-UP TEAMS AND VESSELS. Minimal deployment is the watchword so far, on the teams and vessels by BP for coastal clean-up in Lousiana. BP enforces a gag-order on the hirees. The total number hired on is still reportedly only in the range of 22,000. There are said to be 6,000 workers on coastal protection in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

Requisitioning for hundreds of dredges, fishing vessels and other help should be underway.

* VAST FISHERIES DAMAGE. Federal agencies today declared 37% of Federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico, out-of-bounds for fishing. In addition, state health authorities are closing many shellfish beds. Wednesday in Alabama, the oyster beds were closed.

About one billion pounds of fish and shellfish were taken out of the Gulf of Mexico in 2008, which included up to 30%-40% of the fresh catch consumed in the U.S. at certain seasons. This specialty sector — especially shrimp, oysters, red snapper and others — is now in the process of shutdown, and ocean-fishery experts are frantically studying what might be the long-term effects.

Of the total of fish and seafood consumed in the U.S., over 80% is imported (the largest category of imports of all foods in the U.S.), but of the remaining 20%, Gulf-sourced seafood is foremost.

Israel Can't Get Away With the "Holocaust Victim" Routine Anymore

June 3, 2010 (LPAC)—Israel is coming under increasingly broad attack for its killing of unarmed civilians attempting to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The reality is that the Israeli "We can do what we want because we were holocaust victims" operation is a thing of the past. They can't get away with it any more. Everyone can see that the Israelis are committing the same kind of crimes against Palestinians, that were carried out against them.

A particularly apt op-ed appeared in the New York Times, which drew the comparison between the treatment of the Turkish Mavi Marmara, and the good ship Exodus from 1947. International Herald Tribune writer H.D.S. Greenway wrote that many are drawing the parallel. The Exodus was a ship full of Holocaust survivors which sailed for Palestine in 1947, seeking to be able to find refuge in that land. Rather than permit them to land, the British occupiers of Palestine opened fire on the ship, killing numerous of the refugees. All perfectly legal, Greenway notes, but a moral atrocity.

U.S. author Paul Craig Roberts also pens an op-ed excoriating the Israelis — and President Obama — for the murders. Obama is complicit in Israel's war crimes, he says; his "12-hour silence in the face of extreme barbarity" is his signal that he's going to toe the line. Roberts also creams the so-called evangelical Christians who always go along with such Israeli barbarity.

What neither author addresses is the sine qua non for ending this horror: To break the British-controlled Sykes-Picot horror, British puppet Obama must be removed from office, now.

LaRouche: Expropriate the BP Bastards!

June 3, 2010 (LPAC)—Lyndon LaRouche reiterated the needed emergency solution for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill crisis: "Expropriate the British sons-o'-bitches! Take over BP! They owe us!"

By nationalizing BP North America, the U.S. government will be ending the "trust us" game of years of looting, leading up to the current epic oil spill. Look at the scale of BP North America finances to be deployed: The assets of BP North America (also going under the brand name ARCO, from acquisitions of Atlantic Richfield and Amoco) stand at $240 billion, with liabilities of $136 billion. This then, leaves net assets of $104 billion. Of those assets, current (circulating) assets are $70 billion.

This amount is clearly in the right range to be deployed for conducting clean-up operations, compensation, and drilling control, in the spirit of "waging war" that people are rightly demanding in the Gulf of Mexico states and neighboring nations. The $70 billion even compares favorably to the estimate of $22 billion to cover costs and liabilities of the Gulf disaster, as put out recently by insurer ING, itself part of the Inter-Alpha Group of London-centered political-finance networks, involving BP.

A "Seize BP" Week of Action starts June 3, at 5 p.m. in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Chicago, at corporate offices, and thereafter through June 11 at public sites and BP gas stations from Seattle to Baltimore. In New York City, the "Seize BP" demonstration will be at JP Morgan Chase World Headquarters, on Park Ave., because, as the organizers point out, Chase owns close to 30% of BP's public stock. A petition, and a "Case for Seizure" statement is given on the Week of Action's website.

"Obama Is Going To Sink Obama": Build For the Post-Obama Future

June 3, 2010 (LPAC)-- "Obama is going to sink Obama," Lyndon LaRouche remarked on Wednesday.

It might be tempting to say that the escalating crisis in the oil-despoiled Gulf of Mexico, the Administration's inhuman condoning of the Israelis' murderous activity, and outrage among Democrats about the President's unpopular policies, are building a crescendo which will force that British whore called the U.S. president, Barack Obama, from office. That would be wrong. It is Obama, by his very own Nero-like self, who will sink Obama.

There is no question but that Obama is going down. He is acting like Nero in the final stages — driven to the point of insanity where he might even commit suicide. (The Secret Service is there to prevent that.) LaRouche identified this reality more than a year ago. And the profile holds true. Nero Obama has his destiny written within him, and he will do something to bring himself down.

The process is relentlessly moving forward — just as LaRouche forecast. The people of the United States are in motion through a mass strike process, which brings them into direct conflict with their British puppet president. What is critical is that we take the necessary initiatives to get the mass strike process to follow the leadership of LaRouche, in time.

It is only the mass strike process that can force the leading institutions, and the Congress, to come to the realization that, if the United States is going to survive, Obama has to be removed. People must face the fact that Obama is a British agent, a British whore. Democrats have a problem with that because they never dealt with their "Andrew Jackson" problem. The Democratic Party never was willing to admit that Andrew Jackson was a British agent, acting to destroy the sovereignty of the United States by destroying the National Bank. Obama is the more dangerous, contemporary equivalent of Andrew Jackson. And just as Jackson showed his murderous soul by committing genocide against the Cherokee Indian tribe, forcing them on the "Trail of Tears," Obama is revealing himself with his own Trail of Tears — only this time, those tears are stained by BP oil.

The accelerated force of the physical economic breakdown crisis, including that aided by the BP crimes in the Gulf, will hasten the result. The people will realize that our nation cannot function, because the President is out of control. They will move to bring him under control, however they can.

That's where LaRouche's and LaRouchePAC's leadership — which has already contributed to creating this political crisis — becomes absolutely crucial. The mobilization around the Glass-Steagall resolution, which we have begun to present to local institutions around the country, will be decisive in shaping the mass strike's direction. Augment this with the videos on economic development, and space and scientific development, which LPAC-TV is featuring, and we have the ingredients to educate the patriotic leadership of this process, as required.

Lead the mass strike process, and we can win.
